Tess and Sai’s wedding at Forte da Cruz in Estoril, Portugal, unfolded on an unusually beautiful Monday—one marked by a sudden, country-wide power outage. No one knew what was happening. Phones stopped working, plans unraveled, but these two were the picture of calm. With patience and grace, they embraced the day as it came, surrounded by the people who mattered most.

Everything ran late, but everything still fell into place. I shot the entire day on film, which felt just right for a celebration that moved at an unhurried, old-world pace. In the end, it was nothing short of magical.
