Photographing Sharlene and Jason in Barcelona on a sunny Sunday morning was an experience filled with creativity and connection. We met for coffee in the Gothic Quarter, where the quiet hum of the city waking up set the perfect tone for the day. As we strolled through the narrow, historic streets, we chatted about photography, film, and the little things that inspire us. There was an ease to the morning—sunlight filtering through old buildings, the soft echoes of footsteps on stone, and the shared excitement of capturing moments in such a beautiful place.
Since both Sharlene and Jason are photographers, I have to admit it felt a little intimidating to be the one behind the camera. But that challenge made the experience even more rewarding. It was refreshing to exchange ideas with people who understand the art form so deeply, and their appreciation for the craft made the session feel more like a creative collaboration. By the time we reached Ciutadella Park, the golden morning light was just right, and I felt truly in my element, capturing not just portraits, but a shared passion for storytelling through images.
