Chapoquoit Beach engagement session

Andrea is a Cubana-Americana from Florida and Lucía a third culture Española born in the Netherlands and raised in Cape Cod. They met by chance, fell in love as the world closed down in 2020. They wrote letters to each other for months, and then Andrea drove to visit her while she was in Falmouth. They knew it was meant to be right away! Today, they are both PhD students in NC and live together with their two dogs.

Photographing and learning their story gave me a reminder that true love can be found in the most unpredictable situations in our lives. A pandemic did not stop them from building their love story. Love, once again, wins!
